Gashford Guillaume and his band “Creole Fusion Ensemble” was at the Queens Library in Cambria Heights, NY today. What a great initiative, the staff of the library decided to bring in music to refresh the soul.
We go to a library for many reasons: homework, study, research and so on. Now, we have music on the list, we hope that the managers of this public library could keep this going in a neighborhood like this, where people from different ethnicity and culture lives.
Gashford and his band gave an awesome performance, the audience were captivated by the music, on their feet, clapping, they were asking for more.
Eyes closed, Ofer Assaf (sax), Ted Cruz (Piano) and Calvin Jones (bass) let the music take them to the next level.
